Hamburg, April 7, 2008 – KTG Agrar AG (ISIN: DE000A0DN1J4 / WKN: A0DN1J) expands its Management Board and has appointed Wolfgang Bläsi (39) as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Before joining the agricultural company, Wolfgang Bläsi worked at Novasoft AG for about eight years, most recently as CFO, which means that he has long-standing experience in managing a listed company.

"We are pleased that we have been able to win Wolfgang Bläsi, as he has comprehensive experience and expertise in all financial and capital market matters,” says Siegfried Hofreiter, CEO of KTG Agrar AG." This will allow each single member of the management team to focus on their respective strengths. And as a team, we will be able to exploit the growth opportunities arising in the agricultural sector even more aggressively."

Beatrice Ams will resign from the Management Board in June 2008. The founder and majority shareholder will retain her interest in KTG Agrar and remain closely related with the company going forward. At the next Annual General Meeting, the Supervisory Board and the Management Board will propose to appoint Beatrice Ams to the Supervisory Board.

Beatrice Ams: "After 14 years of start-up work and management activity I look forward to being even more closely involved in the strategic development of KTG Agrar in order to exploit the excellent opportunities of our company.”
